Chapter 3 The Abby of Pel.. wait, Cyric?

The Forest was easy enough to move through. The walk began early morning after leaving Domas Fort, Anna waited at the Fort, it was just Spiros, Kerin, Assavari and Cadmael. Walking along the path Kerin and Spiros spotted a large tree with some pixies floating aimlessly around it “They took it” they continued to say as the floated around. Kerin and Spiors approached cautiously but the Pixies didn’t react at all. Attempting to talk and find out what happened Kerin and Spiros decided they’d have to come back to help these Pixies due to being pressed for time. They moved back to the main path where Cadmael and Assavari were coming limping, it seems they had taken a tumble down a cliff.

The continued onwards to the Abbey of Pelor, Crossing the Plains of Pelor the journey took a few days but on the last day as the abbey was only a few hours away, the night sky became to come in and rain began to fall harder and harder.

Arriving at the Cynder Isles Abby of Pelor, large stone walls and a young girl covered in a blood red cloak. “Please, you must he-!” “Hello there!” a voice cuts her off. The Abbey’s head cleric approaches the group and invites them in.

The head cleric agreed to peace talks with the group, Spiros sneaking off to gain more information about the place Kerin and Cadmael manage to keep him distracted with Kerins acting skills. Still not together Kerin and Spiros began to have a bad feeling about the place. Being escorted to a room they realized it was locked from the outside and they were stuck in there. Spiros managed to sneak back to the room, knocking out the guard.

The group was in the room talking amongst themselves and what they believed they should do when “Knock knock knock” was heard on the large wooden door. The girl from before was standing there, once again in her cloak. She introduced herself as Kessa, telling a tale of how abbots and clerics at the abbey had been disappearing and that she feared she was next the Orders Front agreed to help and sprang into action.

Crawling through the halls of the Abbey the Orders Front managed to dodge all of the guards that walked around the halls.

After a short encounter with a merchant that ended up dying due to some unfortunate circumstances brought unintentionally on by Kerin the Orders Front managed to sneak around and find a shrine to Cyric. The Abbey had been taken over!

The groups quick action managed to save the Abbey as they confronted the head Cleric, intrupting him with two priests of Cyric the Orders Front managed to fight them off and save the Abbey and the head Cleric.

Leaving Kessa in charge of the Abbey the Orders Front moved on heading back to Paraous City to visit the Merchant Sellers.
