Dunn Carrodus

Dunn was born to the son of a guard captain from Tranais City in Paramar, he was raised in upper middle class. Dunn was friends with many types of peoples, all sorts of races. Eventually the growing racism in Paramar caused many of these races to leave and Dunn was alone.

Dunns father, Reggan managed to pull strings to get him into training for Paladinship. The training for one so young was very odd and usually reserved for nobles. Dunn exceled at training in the physical aspect, but could not grasp the religious discipline as well and only managed to stay on par with the requirement.

Dunn was formally inducted into the Paladins around the time that they pushed into the other provinces. Dunn spent nearly 15 years in the Paladins, after a short while be began to notice the cruelty of the Paladins that his superiors seemed to relish infliction upon the citizens of foreign lands.

Dunn began studying the teachings of Pelor, confused by the malice his countrymen were sowing.

After a while Dunn had received news, his father had been caught letting a criminal go free. This criminal was a beggar who had a likeness of Avandra, breaking the laws regarding religion in Paramar is unforgivable. Reggan was changed into one of the Pale for his actions. With this information Dunn became upset and resolved to find a way to fight the corruption of his country and his god.

Soon after all of this Dunn was led by Amit Trant to Baelen Village, where he managed to escape in the dead of night, taking with him only his armor and sword.

Dunn had eventually made his way to Paraous City where he met a young girl named Jessen who was a healer of Avandra. Jessen had been recruited to heal Cadmael’s near death experience in the Dark Forest, but when she was arrested Dunn sought out help of those who Jessen had just helped. Although not knowing her very well Dunn did feel an obligation of loyalty to free her from such a ridiculous imprisonment.
