Leta Carpenter

 

A half elf woman originally from Car’tie, known for being a very in the moment and lively person with a weakness for beautiful maidens. Leta’s upbringing has left her with an attitude of ’what’s right, right now’ and disdain for the privileged and concepts such as ‘the greater good’. Though it’s noted she is a thief and a liar, her loyalty and dedication are unwavering and her motivations are always good in the end.

Leta was an orphan who originally fled an abusive orphanage with three other orphans Rian, Torvus, and Carys, who became foster brothers to Leta. All four were eventually taken in and raised by a thief named Myra and brought into the small time rogue’s guild she ran. Leta became the guilds information broker as well as one of it’s most skilled thieves at a young age. The guild formerly performed tasks requested by the poor and wronged members of the city against the rich and politically powerful as a ‘charity’ and distributed stolen wealth to them, these actions caused the Paramar’s to crack down and kill several members including her brother Carys, which lead to the guild disbanding.

 

Leta traveled to the Parous, began sabotaging supply shipments, and along the way briefly had a meeting with Kieran. The two met again in a tavern later where Leta requested her and her companions Cadmael and Dunn’s help in retrieving an amulet for a noble, Bryce Trannyth. They ventured into the dark forest to recover it from an ancient ruin together where Leta was bitten by a werewolf.

 

In the end Bryce betrayed Leta and the group were forced to fight High Paladin Trant, a fight that almost cost Leta her life. She remained with the party after they killed Trant, having become fond of them and wanting to help their comrades The Order of the Piercing Light defeat Paramar. Leta now travels with them to assist in their mission as well as looking for way to cure the bite she received in the Dark Forest with their help.
