Letter 2

I think you're being a tad over dramatic about this. A few injuries does not automatically equal a bad idea. I've gone through our most recent endeavor completely unharmed actually. Except for when my hands were poisoned by thorns, but it was cured almost immediately! We traveled to a hag's lair hoping to retrieve the leader of the satyrs who had been captured and perhaps the key to a powerful siege weapon in the upcoming battle. Apparently Paramar forces and the nearby Minotaur ones are amassing an army, the group I've joined has sworn to aid them so I suppose so am I now. I imagine you're not going to be pleased about it though.

I'm embarrassed to admit the thing nearly ensorcelled me despite using an artifact of true sight. I can thank Kerin for breaking the hold she possessed over me, although I've lost some of my hair. I'm sure it will grow back eventually however.

She put us in some sort of dimensional maze, nearly pitch dark and littered with traps. My training in the shadow arts came in handy. I was lucky to run into Alexander and Nash soon into the maze and only snagged a couple of traps. Alexander was very courteous about assisting me and accepting my assistance.

In this particular incident Nash was did not show his most flattering colors. He kept wandering on while I was stuck on the trap, and to make matters worse later after the battle with the hag made a rather unflattering scene of himself. I do not think he is a malicious person at heart, merely that he does not consider how others might perceive what he does. Ironic for me to point that out in someone isn't it? I'm rather irate with him at the moment, but I doubt I'll hold any grudges come morning. We at least were able to gain the last bit of assistance we needed besides the elves. Let us hope their foolish long sees sense. He didn't have much of it last we heard.

The more I keep going on the more I feel like I'm doing the exact opposite of soothing your worries. So for now I'll end things here and if I live, you'll hear how the battle went next time I write in this thing.

Sincerely Yours,
