We finally made it to the elf city, but unfortunately have to come baring bad news. Paramar is about to invade the living shite out of this place. At least we got to reunite Cadmael and Yurien, it was quite touching actually. I'm glad he's looking happier. He'll be a father soon, but it doesn't sound like he intends to leave our group just yet. 
 

We all still mourn our lost friend of course, but I think we'll be alright now. Ursar wanted his people protected and Paramar defeated, so we'll honor that wish by completing our mission. 

Oh and we picked up a gnome earlier. He calls himself captain and is obsessed with stars. An eccentric fellow, but he's amusing and he's got some impressive gall so he should be an interesting edition to our group. We also have Alexander with us now, turns out he snuck out to follow us. Little git is lucky he didn't get beheaded by dragonborns or something. Someone really needs to keep an eye on things back at the inn, especially with the spy network up and running. I don't know if I fully trust the Red Hand to run it themselves after everything we've learned, and Mithos and Gareth aren't too interested in learning that sort of thing is Aramys' news is right. Lilian might work but we don't really know if she's experienced with that sort of thing...

I'm almost considering returning to do it myself once this business with the battle and the elves is over. Ive enjoyed my time with my traveling and fighting beside them, but I've never been a soldier before. We fought a dragon the other day and I got one hit in before I froze up like a scared child! 

Lying, trading information and favors, and assisting from the shadows...I've done that my entire life almost. The whole reason I set this up was so I could protect them more efficiently, it would make sense for me to handle it myself. So maybe that's where I'd be the most helpful now. I need to think about this more. 

For now I think I just need to focus on the battle coming up and assisting the elves. The rest, well we'll just have to see what the future has in store for us.
