Ursar of the Bending River
In the winding river valleys of the Car'tie mountains lives a group of nomadic dwarves known collectively as the Bending River Clan. These dwarves live off the land as hunters and gatherers, offering praise to their beloved Earth Mother in thanksgiving of her bountiful blessings.
Ursar is a young member of the Bending River's warrior caste known as the Ursari, who are responsible for protecting the clan from any and all threats. One cold midwinter's evening, Ursar was visited by the Brother Bear - patron of all Ursari - and told of a great impending danger. He was shown visions of his people in chains, driven by tall men draped in cloths of iron and gold. Leading them was a kingly man whom Brother Bear named as Jaravar. Only by slaying the king would the Bending River dwarves be spared from this fate.
The next morning, Ursar made south for the Cynder Isles...
Ursar, was attempting to book passage to the Cynder Isles from Asha and her crew, little did Ursar know; The Order had been destroyed except for a few members, but as he yelled the words "Order of the Piercing Light"! a little to loud, Kerin, Cadmael and Leta over heard and took Ursar with them.
Ursar adventured with the group for a short while. On their way to the Red Mountains the group stopped at the Red Prison to free someone for the Red Hand, Ursar decided to fight against the warden of the prison and fell. An honorable death in Ursars mind but an unnecessary one in his friends.
